Dr Chris Montanaro

Osteopath + Founder

 

Dr. Chris Montanaro grew up in the state of Maine, where his father ran a school of mime and theatre. A strong natural talent for science and mathematics was tempered by an artistic environment and a love of God and nature. In high school, he was awarded the prestigious first prize in the Westinghouse Science competition, and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science from Brown University in biophysicsand mathematics.

 

Attracted by the wholistic philosophy of Osteopathy, he attended the University of New England for his doctorate in medicine, and completed a residency in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at St Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.

 

For the past 20 years, he has been in private practice in northern California. In his practice, he integrates hands-on Osteopathy with cutting-edge treatments to allow health to flow naturally.

 

He believes strongly that health is inherent, and that what
science should best hope to do is be a graceful assistant in healing, never forgetting the powerful emotional and spiritual aspects of the human being, and respecting that mysterious Source of health that supports all of us every day.
